CleanProposal ("we", "our", "us") operates cleanproposal.org. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. What we collect

• Email address — to create your account and send magic link logins
• Proposal content — text, scope, timeline, pricing you enter. Saved to your account.
• Uploaded files — logos and signatures you choose to add to your proposals
• Usage data — product interaction data collected through Microsoft Clarity to improve the product
• Payment info — processed by PayPal. We don't store card details.

2. How we use it

To run the service, authenticate you, save proposals, generate PDFs, process payments, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.

3. PDF storage

PDFs are generated on demand and not stored permanently. Your proposal drafts are saved to your account so you can re-export anytime.

4. AI features

When you use "Expand with AI", your text is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. It is not used to train AI models. This feature is always optional.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with: PayPal for payments, email delivery providers, Microsoft Clarity for usage analytics, the AI provider when you use the optional AI feature, and hosting infrastructure. We never sell your data.

6. Data retention

We keep account and proposal data while needed to provide the service. Generated PDFs are not stored permanently. Contact us to request deletion of your account data.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@cleanproposal.org.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. Microsoft Clarity provides usage analytics and may use cookies or similar technologies. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
